this is my personal translation, some different hebrew words translate to idetical words in english but have different connotations.

Lulav that is stolen and is dry is invalid. (A lulav) from an Ashirah tree and of a banished city (fallen to idol worship) are invalid. (A lulav with a) broken top, and separated (פרצו–lit. burst)leaved is invalid. Separated leaves is valid. Rabbi Yehudah says to tie it from the top. The palms from the iron mountain are valid. A lulav that has in it three tefachim (תפחים) in order to wave it is valid.
