א,א בתולה נישאת ביום רביעי, ואלמנה ביום חמישי: שפעמיים בשבת בתי דינין יושבים בעיירות, ביום השני וביום החמישי; שאם היה לו טענת בתולים, היה משכים לבית דין.

1:1 A virgin should marry on Wednesday, and a widow on Thursday: For twice a week, the Jewish courts sit in cities- on Monday and on Thursday, so that if he has a claim about her virginity, he can go immediately to court.
