Paragraph 1- If two deposited with one watchman and one comes to take his own, we would not listen to him until the other one arrives. When is this true? Where the second owner is not in the city. If he is in the city and is aware that the other is claiming the item but he does not come, however, he is okay with what the other is doing and the other is acting as an agent for him. The specifics of this law are discussed in 176:25 and in Siman 122. If one deposits with two, it is as if he loaned to two. See above Siman 77.
