The Law of "For the Miracles" On Hanukkah	דין על הנסים בחנוכה
Paragraph 1 — All eight days of Hanukkah one says "For the miracles…" in Grace After Meals in the Benediction of the Land, and in the [Standing] Prayer in the benediction of Thanksgiving, and if one did not say [it] we do not make him go back. (And see above Section 294 Paragraph 4 and 5.) However if he remembers [while he is still] in that benediction, as long as he has not mentioned God's Name [in the conclusion], even if he remembers between "You" and "God," he should go back. Rem"a: There are some who say that when one forgot "For the miracles…" in Grace After Meals, when he reaches "May the Merciful One…," he should say "May the Merciful One perform for us miracles and wonders, just as You did for our fathers in those days at this season, in the days of Matityahu… etc." (Kol Bo, and already explained in Section 187 Paragraph 4)	סעיף א — כל שמונת ימי חנוכה אומר על הנסים בברכת המזון בברכת הארץ, ובתפלה בברכת מודים, ואם לא אמר אין מחזירין אותו. (וע"ל סימן רצ"ד סעיף ד' וה'.) ומיהו אם נזכר באותה ברכה, כל זמן שלא הזכיר את השם, אפילו נזכר בין אתה להשם, חוזר. הגה: י"א כששכח על הניסים בברכות המזון, כשמגיע להרחמן, יאמר הרחמן יעשה לנו נסים ונפלאות כשם שעשית לאבותינו בימים ההם בזמן הזה בימי מתתיהו כו'. Paragraph 2 — Even in the Mussaf of Sabbath and of the New Moon, one needs to mention Hanukkah, even though there is no Mussaf for Hanukkah.	סעיף ב — גם במוסף של שבת ושל ר"ח, צריך להזכיר של חנוכה, אע"פ שאין מוסף בחנוכה.
Paragraph 3 — We do not say "…just as you performed… etc."; rather one concludes "…and you performed for them miracles and feats in those days at this time." And there are those that say that we do say it.	סעיף ג — אין אומרים כשם שעשית וכו', אלא מסיים ועשית עמהם נסים וגבורות בימים ההם בעת הזאת. ויש אומרים שאומרים אותו.
