Translation:The Death of Liebknecht-Luxemburg
The Death of Liebknecht-Luxemburg.
Compatriots!
Karl Liebknecht and Rosa Luxemburg were murdered in Berlin in a hideous manner. We are outraged and saddened by these victims of the revolution. Even if their ways were not our ways, we must nevertheless acknowledge that they wanted the best for the people and were carried by the noblest motives and ideals.
We expect the government to find the culprits and punish them severely.
The assembly taking place this afternoon at 1 a.m. in the festival hall and the subsequent demonstration will be a memorial service for the murdered and a protest against the bestial act at the same time.
The Board of Directors of the Socdem. Association of Greater Frankfurt.
