Nice Job

[edit]

- Really good. I appreciate it. Keep it up!

I also think this is a nice job. You're getting the hang of translating better and better. Especially nice is that the text is largely in English, without too much use of Hebrew terms. The language is also pretty clear. Dovi (talk)

Technical note

[edit]

When you create a new page for a new siman like this one, do not leave extra blank spaces in the title of the page (before or after slashes / ). Such spaces will cause problems when we start linking to the siman. Dovi (talk) 19:50, 27 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hebrew text

[edit]

Consider whether or not this is necessary. Remember that the Hebrew text is available anyways in a single click on "עברית" in the sidebar. Also, you have copied the text from Hebrew Wikisource, but if it gets proofread there the improvement will not appear in the text you have copied here. Dovi (talk) 19:51, 27 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Is here where I reply?

[edit]

I think so. Thank you. I'll see how this goes. Now I am also unsure if the Hebrew is necessary, even if it's transcluded. How does the Wikisource page know which chapter in English lines up with which in Hebrew when 'Ivrit' is clicked? Shemindex (talk) 20:50, 27 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Text from the Hebrew wiki cannot be automatically transcluded; you have to do copy and paste. Linking to the correct chapter in the Hebrew is done through a link at the bottom of the edit page which specifies the chapter number. Just take a look at the bottom of the edit page for this siman. Its really good!

[edit]

I really like it! If you want, edit the Orach Chaim, which I have primarily written. Great translations!

After all the work you have put in, compared to the little I've done, I wouldn't presume to edit your translation. I hope you will continue with the Arukh haShulchan Orach Chaim. It's much easier to continue this if I know someone else is doing it as well.Shemindex (talk) 17:08, 2 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Ok

[edit]

Ok, ill try to do some more. Again, complements on your work! talk

Hey!

[edit]

I have been learning your translation and I really enjoy it! I am going away for a while, and have been very busy, but i have been translating a little and will post my new translations shortly God Willing. Keep it up! Goldmanboys (talk) 04:10, 21 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hi there, I'm looking forward to your new additions. Shemindex (talk) 17:58, 16 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hey! This is Goldmanboys again: I have started doing Even Haezer if you want to take a look. Have you ever considered taking a break from Choshen Mishpat and work on Orach Chaim, Even haezer, or Yore dea? Goldmanboys
