Anon1 Version Needs to be Checked Against the Yiddish

[edit]

It may have many deviations from the original Nissimnanach (talk) 15:08, 15 November 2011 (UTC)NissimnanachReply

Changed to More Accurate AYS Version

His notes:
The word “merchant” is used instead of “burgher” because the text is intended for translation into a non-European language. Without a background of the economic history of Europe, the word “burgher” cannot be properly understood. But if this text will be published in English, it would be fitting to edit it and change “merchant” back to “burgher”.

Nissimnanach (talk)Nissimnanach adds: Burgher was accordingly substituted back into his text, with a short definition appended after first mention or burgher.
