MASSACHUSETTS NEW HAMPSHIRE	U.S. 1 Alternate	Proposed marking would be over Massachusetts State Route 17 north from U.S. Route 1 in Danvers to a connection with present U.S. 1 at New Hampshire-Massachusetts line.
DEFER PENDING DELINEATION AND MARKING INTERSTATE
MASSACHUSETTS APPROVED	U.S. 6 Relocation	Proposed marking would be over new limited access highway from State Route 24 in Harwich to present U.S. 6 in north edge of Orleans, (Present U.S. 6 from State Route 24 at Breakwater Center through Orleans will become State Route 6-A).
MASSACHUSETTS APPROVED	U.S. 7 Rerouting in Pittsfield	Proposed marking will separate northbound traffic and southbound traffic in congested area of Pittsfield. The northbound route will be along the south side of Park Square from North Street to Bank Row, then Bank Row north to East Street, then east on East Street to First Street, then north on First Street to present U.S. 7. The southbound routing will be over North Street to present U.S. 7 at south edge of Park Square.
MASSACHUSETTS APPROVED	U.S. 20 Relocation in West Springfield	Proposed routing will coincide with U. S. Route 5 along river front expressway between Memorial Bridge and North End Bridge then west on Park Avenue to present U.S. 20.
NEW JERSEY APPROVED	U.S. 9 Relocation	Proposed marking will be over a connection 1.3 miles long to U.S. 9 through Beachwood from the Garden State Parkway and over 3.0 miles of the Garden State Parkway to present U.S. 9 north of Toms River. (Present U.S. Route 9 through Toms River will be marked State Route 166).
MISSISSIPPI APPROVED	U.S. 11 By-Pass Recognition of a By-Pass Route	Proposed route would begin at the interchange junction of U.S. Routes 11, 49 and 48 in the southwestern part of Hattiesburg, following U.S. 49 northerly to State Route 62 thence easterly with Route 42 to junction with U.S. 11 in northeastern part of Hattiesburg
MICHIGAN APPROVED	U.S. 12 Relocation	This relocation of U.S. 12 is over Interstate Route from U.S. 10 in Detroit westward past Ypsilanti to a point west of Ann Arbor. (Former U.S. 12 from U.S. Route 16 in Detroit to the intersection of new U.S. 12 west of Ann Arbor is marked Michigan Route 14).
VIRGINIA APPROVED	U.S. 13 Alternate Elimination of Route	Proposal will eliminate marking of U.S. 13A between U.S. 13 at Bay View into Cape Charles.
KENTUCKY ILLINOIS	U.S. 58 Extension of route and Establishment of Alternate 58A	(Kentucky Portion) Proposed routing begins at Kentucky-Virginia State Like at Middlesboro, Kentucky and follow northerly over U.S. 25E to Kentucky Route 92, north of Pineville; over Route 92 to U.S. 25W at Williamsburg; north over U.S. 25W to Ky. Route 90 to U.S. 27 at Parkers Lake; northerly over U.S. 27 to Route 90 north of Burnside; westerly over Route 90 through Monticello, Burkesville and Glasgow to U.S. 31W, west on U.S. 3W to Ky. Route 65 north of Rocky Hill; northwesterly to Ky. Route 70 northwest of Brownsville; westerly over Route 70 to U.S. 231 north of Aberdeen; northwesterly with U.S. 231 to U.S. 62 at Beaver Dam; southwesterly with U.S. 62 to Ky. Route 70 in Central City; west with Route 70 to U.S. 41 Alternate at Madisonville; northwesterly with U.S. 41A to Sturgis; northwesterly over Ky. Route 85 to Kentucky-Illinois State Line near Shawneetown, Illinois

		(Illinois Portion) Beginning on the Illinois-Kentucky line on the Shawneetown Bridge, then westerly over Illinois State Route 13 to State Route 142 at Equality; northwest with Route 142 through Eldorado to State Route 34; northwesterly with Route 34 to State Route 14 in Benton; west over Route 14 to U.S. 51 south of DuQuoin; north with U.S. 51 to State Route 152 in DuQuoin; west with Route 152 to State Route 13; northwesterly with Route 13 through Pinckneyville, to U.S. 460 at Freeburg; northwest with U.S. 460 to Illinois-Missouri line in East St. Louis
KENTUCKY (Cont.) ILLINOIS	U.S. 58 Extension of Route and Establishment of Alternate 58A	ALTERNATE 58 (In Illinois) Beginning at the junction of Illinois State Route 142 and 13 near Equality (Proposed U.S. 58) west over Route 13 to Murphysboro, then north to junction with Route 152 near Pyatt (Proposed U.S. 58).

MISSOURI APPROVED	U.S. 69 Recognition of Business Route	Proposal will provide a routing over former sections of U.S. 69 and city streets in Excelsior Springs, between new U.S. 69 interchange at west edge of city and a junction north of the city.
CALIFORNIA APPROVED	U.S. 99 B.R. Recognition of Business Route City of Fresno	Beginning on the Fresno Freeway (U.S. 99) at the Interchange near Monterey Overhead then follow through Fresno on Broadway Avenue and crossing the Southern Pacific Railroad at Belmont Avenue, then parallel and near the S.P.R.R. northwesterly to the West Clinton Avenue Interchange.
CALIFORNIA APPROVED	U.S. 99 B.R. Recognition of Business Route through the City of Delano	Beginning at the Airport Road Interchange south of Delano then follow existing highway under Southern Pacdfic R. R. and northerly through Delano to the County Line Road Interchange at north city limits.
MISSOURI KANSAS APPROVED	U.S. 166 Relocation	(Missouri Portion) The relocation of the route will be from junction of present route and U.S. 71 at 7th Street in Joplin, then south over U.S. 71 approximately 2.6 miles, then southwest on a new location to a point on the Missouri-Kansas State Line, just north of the common corner between Kansas and Oklahoma, on the Missouri Line.
MISSOURI KANSAS APPROVED	U.S. 166 Relocation	(Kansas Portion) The relocation of this route will be from the Missouri-Kansas Line a short distance north of the common corner of Kansas and Oklahoma on the Missouri line northwest to this junction of Kansas Route 26 and present U.S. 166.
MARYLAND APPROVED	U.S. 301 Relocation and Recognition of Business Route	Proposed rerouting begins on present route south of Glen Burnie over a recently completed controlled access divided highway into Baltimore utilizing a part of the Baltimore Beltway and the Washington-Baltimore Expressway, then over city streets to junction with U.S. 1 on North Avenue. Present marked U.S. 1 would then become the Business Route.
PENNSYLVANIA APPROVED	U.S. 322 Relocation and Recognition of Business Route	This proposed rerouting will run from the junction of U.S. 202 and present U.S. 322 south of West Chester; then northeast over present U.S. 202 to a point east of West Chester, then leaving U.S. 202 will run north and west to present U.S. 322 northwest of West Chester. Preset U.S. Route 322 through West Chester is to be marked as Business Route.
PENNSYLVANIA	U.S. 422 Elimination of Portion of Route	Proposal requests the elimination of route between Hummelstown Cloverleaf (junction with U.S. 222) and Harrisburg. Will eliminate a 10 mile dual marking of U.S. 422 and U.S. 322.

GEORGIA APPROVED	U.S. 221 Relocation	Proposed marking to be over a new highway constructed between Appling and Pollards. Will shorten route distance 1.5 miles.
