Adopted unanimously by the Security Council at its 2167th meeting, on 12 September 1979

The Security Council,

Having examined the application of Saint Lucia ([1]) for admission to the United Nations,

Recommends to the General Assembly that Saint Lucia should be admitted to membership in the United Nations.
