Refiriéndome nuevamente a su estimable nota No. 65, de fecha 29 de noviembre anterior, tengo a honra manifestar a Vuestra Señoría, de acuerdo con el Ministerio de Hacienda, Crédito Pública, Industria y Comercio, que mi Gobierno, tomando en cuenta las felices y cordiales relaciones existentes entre el ilustrado Gobierno de Su Majestad y el de El Salvador, gustoso accede a la próroga, po un año más, a partir del 16 de este mes, de Modus Vivendi Comercial celebrado entre esta República

With further reference to your note No. 65, dated 29 November last, I have the honour to inform you, with the agreement of the Ministry of Finance, Public Credit, Industry and Commerce, that my Government, taking into account the happy and cordial relations existing between his Majesty's Government and the Government of El Salvador, is pleased to agree to the prolongation for a further period of one year as from the sixteenth of this month, of the Commercial Modus Vivendi between this Republic and Great

Excellency,

I have the honour to acknowledge receipt of Your Excellency's Note A-631-D-2714 of 9th December in which you are good enough to inform me that, in agreement with the Ministry of Hacienda, Public Credit, Industry and Commerce, the Salvadorean Government, taking into account the happy and cordial relations existing between His Majesty's Government and the Government of El Salvador, are pleased to agree to the renewal, for one more year, from the sixteenth of this month, of the Commercial Modus Vivendi celebrated between this Republic and Great Britain and Northern Ireland; whose provisions will continue to be considered in force with my affirmative reply to Your Excellency's Note.

I am instructed by the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs to agree to this proposal and at the same time to express the gratitude of His Majesty's Government for this further evidence of the friendly and cordial relations which so happily exist between His Majesty's Government and he Government of El Salvador.

I would renew to Your Excellency the assurance of my highest regard and esteem.
