Chap. Ⅺ.—An Act providing for the payment of certain instalments of foreign debts; and of the third instalment due on a loan made of the Bank of the United States.
Certain instalments of debt how to be paid.Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America, in Congress assembled, That the President of the United States be, and he hereby is authorized and empowered to cause any instalments of the foreign debts, which may fall due in the year one thousand seven hundred and ninety-five, and also the third instalment due on a loan made of the Bank of the United States, in pursuance of the eleventh section of the 1791, ch. 10.act for incorporating the subscribers to the said bank, to be paid out of the proceeds of any foreign loans heretofore made.
