Chap. Ⅻ.—An Act in addition to the law of the United States, concerning Consuls and Vice Consuls.
Consul at Algiers.
Act of April 14, 1792.Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That in case it be found necessary, for the interest of the United States that a Consul be appointed to reside at Algiers; the President be authorized to allow him an annual salary not exceeding four thousand dollars.
