Chap. LXX.—An Act supplementary to the act establishing the Mint, and regulating the coins of the United States.
Act of March 3, 1801, ch. 21.
The Mint to remain in Philadelphia.Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That until the fourth day of March one thousand eight hundred and one, the mint shall remain in the city of Philadelphia, and be carried on as heretofore under the laws now in force; any law to the contrary notwithstanding.
