Chap. VI.—An Act to authorize the publication of the laws of the United States within the territories of the United States.
Laws of the United States to be published in each and every territory of the United States.Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the secretary of the Department of State be, and he is hereby authorized to cause the laws of the United States, passed, or to be passed, during the present or any future session of Congress, to be published in two public newspapers within each and every territory of the United States:—Provided, in his opinion, it shall become necessary and expedient.
