Act of 1813, ch. 21.Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the act entitled, “An act laying duties on notes of banks, bankers, and certain companies; on notes, bonds, and obligations, discontinued by banks, bankers, and certain companies; and on bills of exchange of certain descriptions,” passed the second day of August, one thousand eight hundred and thirteen, and the act supplementary to said act, passed the tenth day of December, one thousand eight hundred and fourteen, and the act, entitled “An act laying duties on sugar refined within the United States,” passed the twenty-fourth day of July, one thousand eight hundred and thirteen, shall be, and the same are hereby continued in force; any thing in the said acts in any wise to the contrary notwithstanding.
