Chap. XCIV.—An Act to increase the salaries of the judges of the circuit court for the District of Columbia.

500 dolls. additional to each of the judges of the circuit court for the district of Columbia.Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That in addition to the compensation heretofore allowed by law to the judges of the circuit court for the District of Columbia, the sum of five hundred dollars per annum be paid to the chief justice of the said court, and the same sum per annum to each of the assistant judges of said court, payable quarter yearly; the first quarterly payment to be made on the first day of April, one thousand eight hundred and eighteen.
