Sums appropriated for pay, subsistence, provisions, repairs and contingent expenses.Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the following sums be, and they are hereby, appropriated to the objects herein specified, to wit: for the pay and subsistence of the officers and pay of the seamen, one hundred thousand dollars; for provisions, twenty thousand dollars; for repairs, twenty thousand dollars; for contingent expenses, twenty thousand dollars.

Chap. VII.—An Act making partial appropriations for the support of the navy of the United States during the year one thousand eight hundred and twenty-two.
Out of money in the treasury.Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That the several appropriations hereinbefore made, shall be paid out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated.
