Chap. XXIV.—An Act supplementary to an act, entitled “An Act to authorize the inhabitants of the state of Louisiana to enter the back lands.”
Act of June 15, 1832, ch. 140.
Time for entering lands on rivers, &c. extended one year from June 15.Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the time given by the act to which this is a supplement, to the owners of lands bordering on any of the rivers, creeks, bayous or other water-courses of the state of Louisiana, to become the purchasers by preference, of the back tracts adjacent to those owned by them, be, and the same is hereby, extended one year from the fifteenth of June next.
