Chap. CCLXXVI.—An Act concerning professors of mathematics in the navy of the United States.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,Entitled to mess with lieutenants, and receive rations as such. That professors of mathematics in the navy of the United States shall be entitled to live and mess with the lieutenants of sea going and receiving vessels, and shall receive such rations as lieutenants of the same ship or station shall receive.
