Chap. XII.—An Act for the relief of Edmund Beamont.
To be discharged from imprisonment.Be it enacted, &c., That Edmund Beaumont, now imprisoned in the state of Connecticut, shall be, and hereby is released and discharged from all claim and demand of the United States, to a certain judgment for a penalty of four hundred dollars recovered, with costs, at their suit before the district court for the district of Connecticut, holden at New Haven, in the month of August, eighteen hundred and six; saving and reserving, nevertheless, the right and interest, if any there be, which belongs to any third person.
