Chap. LXXXI.—An Act for the relief of John Thompson.
Account to be settled as captain.Be it enacted, &c., That the proper accounting officers of the department of the treasury be, and they are hereby, required to settle the account of John Thompson, who served in the revolution as a captain in Colonel Hazen’s regiment; and to allow to the said John Thompson, the amount of any moneys which may appear to have been advanced by him for the public service, and which have not been reimbursed to him; and to allow him any arrearages that may be due for personal services; which moneys shall be paid out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated.
