Chap. CXXII.—An Act for the relief of Samuel Manac.
To be compensated for the destruction of his property.Be it enacted, &c., That the proper accounting officers of the War Department be, and they are hereby authorized and directed, to audit and settle the claim of Samuel Manac, a friendly Creek Indian of the half blood, for his property, which was destroyed by the hostile Creek Indians, in the late war, by ascertaining, or causing to be ascertained, the value thereof, in such manner, and upon such terms, as may be equitable and just.
