March 3, 1817.

Chap. LXXIX.An Act for the relief of Joseph I. Green.

Claim for damage to his house, to be settled.Be it enacted, &c., That the proper accounting officers of the department of war be, and they are hereby authorized to adjust and settle the claim of Joseph I. Green, for the damage done to his house in Plattsburg, in the State of New York, under the orders of General Macomb, in the month of September, one thousand eight hundred and fourteen.

Appropriation.Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That the amount thereof, when ascertained, shall be paid to the said Joseph I. Green, out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated.
