Chap. IV.—An Act for the relief of Thomas Lewis.
Allowance to Thomas Lewis.Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the proper accounting officers of the treasury be, and they are hereby directed to settle the accounts of Thomas Lewis, a captain in the army of the United States, and to allow him a sum not exceeding eleven hundred and fifty-seven dollars, in full for his extra services and expenses during the time he acted as additional aid-de-camp to the late Major-General Wayne.
