Chap. XXVI.—An Act authorizing the settlement of the accounts between the United States and William Eaton.
Accounts of late consul at Tunis.Be it enacted, &c., That the proper accounting officers be, and they hereby are authorized and directed to liquidate and settle the accounts subsisting between the United States and William Eaton, late consul at Tunis, upon just and equitable principles, under the direction of the secretary of state.
