My interest is mainly railways, but the vast majority of railway literature is still in copyright. Most of the material in the Public Domain is pre-World War I. What there is, however, is targeted at the professional reader, rather than the hobbyist or enthusiast.

Consequently, I make occasional forays into military history or Proofread of the Month.
