Old and new London

[edit]

The current bit of "Old and new London" is not sufficient to retain as it is only an extract, and not within WS:WWI. We transcribe the works, and we leave Wikipedia to do the encyclopaedic components. What I will do when the upload bot is back in action, I will upload the six volumes to Commons and set up the indices here. From there the work will be available to transcribe. — billinghurst sDrewth 05:48, 4 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the heads-up! --Andreas Philopater (talk) 22:25, 6 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
I haven't forgotten, just ran into a difficulty where the tool that I would normally use has choked on the upload due to its size. In communication with the tool author, and if it is going to be a while, then I will use a fallback too to load the file to Commons. That tools is a little more cumbersome, so I am wanting to pursue the initial tool as a resolution point if at all possible. — billinghurst sDrewth 14:14, 13 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
No hurry! --Andreas Philopater (talk) 00:53, 16 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
Gotten there, though not done hospital edges yet ... v.1v.2v.3v.4v.5v.6 ... enough to start, or restart on the bits that were of interest. — billinghurst sDrewth 15:07, 25 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
Fantastic! Thanks! If I want something else uploaded, can I ask you, or can I operate the upload bot myself? --Andreas Philopater (talk) 17:18, 27 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
