Hello Jocke Pirat, welcome to Wikisource! Thanks for your interest in the project; we hope you'll enjoy the community and your work here.

You'll find an (incomplete) index of our works listed at Wikisource:Works, although for very broad categories like poetry you may wish to look at the categories like Category:Poems instead.

Please take a glance at our help pages (especially Adding texts and Wikisource's style guide). Most questions and discussions about the community are in the Scriptorium.

The Community Portal lists tasks you can help with if you wish. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me on my talk page! John Vandenberg (chat) 23:22, 19 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thus Spake Zarathustra

[edit]

Hi, I noticed here that "great dragon caled" is an unusual error, and it didnt appear in Thus Spake Zarathustra/Part One. Are you typing up these pages from the images?? I hope not, as that would be a lot of unnecessary work - you can copy the text from the pages of Thus Spake Zarathustra, as that is the same translation. It would be better to copy and paste the existing text, otherwise other contributors need to proofread it more carefully to avoid new transcription errors slipping in. John Vandenberg (chat) 01:31, 21 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

In case you are interested, Index:Thus Spake Zarathustra - Alexander Tille - 1896.djvu is an earlier translation, and Page:NYT - Another book by Nietzsche - 1896.png is a New York Times book review of this 1896 edition. John Vandenberg (chat) 04:35, 23 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

And as far as I can tell, that edition doesnt appear anywhere as a proofread transcription. So, I have uploaded all of the text from the pages; they only need to be proof-read. John Vandenberg (chat) 05:35, 23 May 2008 (UTC)Reply
