Prison Memoirs of an Anarchist/i1

[edit]

Hey man a way to make this easier to navigate is to include a header at the top. So it is easier to get back to the table on contents and move from chapter to chapter. Just a thought. Wabbit98 05:06, 27 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Page naming for Prison Memoirs of an Anarchist

[edit]

Hi,

I noticed that the pages for Prison Memoirs goes something like Prison Memoirs of an Anarchist/i1. However, this is not in full accordance with our style guide. I am going to go through and move these pages to something like Prison Memoirs of an Anarchist/Part I/Chapter 1 and correct all the links to reflect this notation. Good luck with this project!—Zhaladshar (Talk) 14:22, 28 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Days of War, Nights of Love

[edit]

This is very likely going to be unacceptable according to our inclusion policy. I am nominating it at deletions but wanted to leave a quick note as you are still uploading material at the moment. It looks to be a self-published item and that is why it would unacceptable. --BirgitteSB 19:13, 6 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

OK I found that discussion. For future reference Wikisource:Scriptorium/Archives/2007-08#Days of War, Nights of Love. Copyright was pretty much the only thing talked about in that. And while the copyright may be acceptable, there are also other requirements listed in the inclusion policy. The part I find to be a problem for this work reads: Analytical works are publications that compile information from other sources and analyze this information. Any non-fiction work which is written about a topic after the main events have occurred generally fits in this category. These as well as any artistic works must have been published in a medium that includes peer review or editorial controls; this excludes self-publication. --BirgitteSB 19:23, 6 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hello, You might be interested to know that I copied this book to Wikilivres, just in case it would be deleted in Wikisource: Days of War, Nights of Love. Regards, Yann 17:25, 2 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Not sure if it's up your alley, but I noticed Marxists.org (in their anarchist section...) has a number of works by Author:Eugene Debs, as does Archive.org - I was tempted to bring them over myself. Sherurcij Collaboration of the Week: Author:Alfred Nobel 21:12, 6 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

I don't mean to ignore you. I need a little more time to look into this before giving a concrete opinion.--BirgitteSB 14:55, 24 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

For a moment there ...

[edit]

For a moment there I was wondering why we had the author page for the Vietnamese author And Thou Too in the main namespace. Then I read it again! <eyeroll> smiley and <sigh> 23:46, 1 November 2009 (UTC)
