Don Quixote djvu issue
[edit]I think the djvu/15 is a re-scan of earlier pages
- I've marked the duplicate pages as "Dupl" in the index. I'll ask GO3 if he's got time to help with removing them. Beeswaxcandle (talk) 23:12, 24 March 2012 (UTC)
- This still looks wrong the index shows it as vii but the page is ix I will skip over this for now MadCowpoke (talk) 05:19, 26 March 2012 (UTC)
- This looks like a caching issue whereby you have an old version of the page in your browser's cache. When this happens you need to purge the cache. In Firefox or IE press Ctrl-F5, in Chrome press Ctrl-R (if on a Mac use the Command key rather than the Ctrl). In the meantime I've completed the Table of Contents, just needs validating. - Must have been something I ate (well probably really a cache issue as you state!). Sooner or later you will knock the newbie off of me. Thanks for your patience! MadCowpoke (talk) 06:25, 27 March 2012 (UTC)

Your question about indenting
[edit]Our general policy is not to indent the first line of paragraphs. This is a typographical convention so that the eye can see where paragraphs begin. As the wiki software puts a wider line-space between paragraphs, we don't need to indent the first line as well. Beeswaxcandle (talk) 08:18, 27 March 2012 (UTC)
Run-on footnotes
[edit]Hi, this is covered on Help:Footnotes and endnotes. However, I've done the reference tags on those three pages so that you can see it in action. The content for the second two pages still needs proofreading. Beeswaxcandle (talk) 02:22, 16 May 2015 (UTC)
- Awesome ! Thanks for the help. I have been away for too long and forgot all I thought I knew.
Ancient Greek text
[edit]Hello, I see you're working on "A History of Ancient Greece" by Grote. If you have problems entering the ancient Greek text this may help you http://www.lexilogos.com/keyboard/greek_ancient.htm If you're not well versed in Greek I can do the transcribing for you when I find the time, as I can imagine it would be very difficult if you weren't. I hope you are though as transcribing ancient greek is a pain. :)

- Hey thanks for the link, that looks pretty useful. The Greek is mostly in the footnotes and usually only a couple of words. However there are some long passages in there. I was using the character map for some of this but it is extremely slow as I am only passing familiar with the characters.
I will just tag the pages that need transcribing if it gets to painful. Thanks for the help ! MadCowpoke (talk) 05:15, 16 May 2015 (UTC)
