Broken links

Thanks for the fix, however

The old method of notes/references appearing in the body after a work is something from which we have moved away. So as per Special:Diff/4942862 I have moved it into the notes section. The basic reasoning is that the body of the page is kept for the work and components found in the work; so then notes that someone/somewhere has been done with regard to the work are kept as notes. We haven't set up a pogrom to move them, so they are just things that we can move in time when stumbled upon. — billinghurst sDrewth 12:48, 25 June 2014 (UTC)

Also, Special:Diff/4942889, the year of publishing is of the work, which in this case is the translation, so it was correct. On the subsequent edit, I have added the original work as a specific category, which is about the only time that we freehand works categories. The reasoning on this is that we can have multiple translations, so capturing them chronologically is important, even multiple translations by the same author (if we ever are so fortunate to be in that scenario). It even works where English is the original language, and we have multiple versions/editions of the same work, otherwise they all end up as the original year and unable to differentiate — billinghurst sDrewth 13:26, 25 June 2014 (UTC)

Disambiguated author pages use hyphens

I saw that you moved an author page to having an endash, from a hyphen. The community decided a while ago to utilise hyphens, so I have moved the page back. — billinghurst sDrewth 13:33, 26 October 2014 (UTC)

If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name.

Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
