Hello,

You have to prove that the texts you publish on Wikisource are in the public domain. That's notably the case of Kerry Wendell Thornley's works. Please add the necessary information on the talk page of the work and the author. Thanks, Yann 10:12, 18 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Principia Discordia

[edit]

This is not acceptable for our copyright policy. Whether that comment was a joke or not, there is no proper release for modification. If we disregard that comment then it is still copyrighted because copyright is automatic. If you need to make a back up copy of your work let me know and I will restore the pages temporarily.--BirgitteSB 13:58, 18 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

From the Copyright policy (emphasis mine) "Free content is content which can be freely viewed, used, distributed, modified, and exploited by anyone, in any form, and for any purpose (including commercial exploitation) without exception and without limitation (except as explicitly allowed below)."
Principia Discordia allows for reprints but not for modifications or derivative uses.--BirgitteSB 14:27, 19 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
Welcome back. I have restored the page Principia Discordia. What did you have in mind when you blanked the page? Do you want it to be deleted; as a copyright violation, or for some other reason? John Vandenberg (chat) 01:48, 18 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
