Wee wan’erin’ winsome elf, my saul,
Thou's made this clay lang hoose an’ hall,
But whar, oh whar art now to dwall,
    Thy bield now bare?
Gaun’ flichterin’ feckless, shiverin’ caul’,
    Nae cantrips mair.
