KONO, Hironaka (TOKYO), M.P.; b. July, 1849, at Fukushima. Joined party which stiove for establishment of constitutional Government in 1881; has been M. P. without intermission since first session of Diet; President of Lower House, 1903; arrested as instigator of Anti-Peace Riots in Tokyo, Sept., 1905, but was acquitted. Address: Tokyo, Japan.
