TYLER, William Ferdinand (SHANGHAI), A.I.C.E., F.R.Met.S.; Chinese Govt. Service; b. Dec. 11, 1865. Service in Chinese Navy during China-Japanese war, 1894; was executive officer (Commander) of Flagship "Tingyuen" at Yalu Battle and at Siege of Weihaiwei; holds positions of Naval Sec. of Peiyang and Nanyang Naval Administrations and of Coast Inspector in Imp.
