- Support. Active Wikipedian since 2006/7, currently active at Wikisource on Portal and Page namespaces. Block on Wiktionary is at his own request due to loss of login info. No concerns here. --Eliyak T·C 17:24, 9 July 2012 (UTC)

- Comment no concerns about his work so far, and absolutely no issues with his work in Page: ns, or contributions to WS:S, though I have been waiting to see more in the other ns, especially main ns where he is quite light edit counter]. The main ns is where we will have the bulk of our problematic patrolling, copyvio, etc. and the tools are mostly actioned through there. — billinghurst sDrewth 15:12, 10 July 2012 (UTC)
- Support, like billinghurst I had some concerns about the users range of editing. When I dug a little deeper and balance with the Wikipedia account Wikipedia edit count and the 1,000 plus edit patrols here, I think it all speaks well of the readiness for the extra tools. - Support - Comment I have been told, if you can see it you can contribute so here I am and here is my take on WS and this area and all workers on WS (as a "family" according to the stated wisdom of Billinghurst). I beleive that WS would be served far better with Chris55 than with myself. I believe that he has more of what I do not—technology skills to build. So what if one person doesn't have X# of edits, or whatever along those lines? Those are simple things done over time. Chris55 works in more professional and important areas and he achieves his goals. I do not know how many administrators are being sought, or needed, or for what specific reasons. I do know that I have seen Chris55's work and am highly impressed. For one instance, I refer to his work on the "Help:Searching" page and his placement of search engines in various places and especially areas that have many volumes. With the "engine" he adds to specific areas of many volumes one can get the returns of only those volumes (e.g. Southern Historical Society Pages which in total consist of 52 volumes) as opposed to the standard search that will find more than what one is specifically looking for in many other works aside from the SHSP volumes. Each has its value. I like his attitude and envy his abilities. His talk page states; "I'm interested in the use of Wikisource for high-quality ebooks.; and I'd like to help to make it [searches and ebooks] more accessible to the newcomer"; and "If we can encourage people to visit and use the books here I'm sure the word will spread and the community will grow." Chris55 is what *I* prefer as a capable administrator who also has technological skills that I do not come close to. One does not need to be an administrator for what I love to do on WS. Support whomever but do so sensibly. My respects to all here and not here — to all who love and build on Wiki areas right down to the editing of removing an extra space whether administrator or not. Kindest regards with sincere thoughts and feelings for everything and everyone involved in instigating and in creating for us all — a better world. 2015-10 confirmation
admin since July 2012 (see previous discussions), currently inactive (contributions · logs · count · crossactivity). Chris55 will be removed automatically unless a simple majority of established users support continued access.
- Note: Last edit here 29 November 2014. Continuing active on the English Wikipedia.
- Support, in order to have on Wikisource a variety of admins: I think this one, still active in wikimedia projects, is still reachable and competent about the texts they have created.--Zyephyrus (talk) 15:53, 1 October 2015 (UTC)

- Oppose seems gone from here. Has not edited, and nothing in the admin logs since 2012. Rights seem unneeded, and welcome to reapply. — billinghurst sDrewth 02:39, 4 October 2015 (UTC)
- Oppose for no recent activity or unique linguistic skill. Other administrators understanding this admin's languages are here.--Jusjih (talk) 00:38, 7 October 2015 (UTC)
- Comment - I've notified Chris55 (talk • contribs) at his en.wikipedia user talk page, of this ongoing discussion. If he were to become more active or make a statement of some sort, I could support. :) -- Cirt (talk) 11:18, 9 October 2015 (UTC)
- I wouldn't oppose it if my administratorship were to lapse as I don't see myself being very active in the foreseeable future. Chris55 (talk) 19:51, 9 October 2015 (UTC)
- Okay, thank you for the response, and good luck to you in the future, -- Cirt (talk) 20:59, 9 October 2015 (UTC)
