2008-03 admin
DarkFalls is an en.wp and commons admin, who came here because Giggy (talk • contribs) did a stunning job with Constitution Act 1867. This is a classic case of the Hare and the Tortoise. Along the way, this tortoise has found the high res image for this months featured text "The Times/The Late Mr. Charles Babbage, F.R.S.", proposed a three new designs to the main page (1, 2, 3, colours), assisted with the migration from {{header}} to {{header2}} [1] finished a large transcription project, and helped a new user get started with Index:A Concise History of the U.S. Air Force.djvu both in answering questions at WS:S and leading the way (e.g. Page:A Concise History of the U.S. Air Force.djvu/6). - Although I find the analogy between myself and a tortoise highly amusing, I am delighted to accept this nomination :) —Dark (talk) 10:57, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

2009-04 confirmation
The requirements for a vote of confidence are met below; the user's continued access will be decided by a simple majority of established voters.
Undecided. I haven't seen in action, so cannot comment on contributions. Would like to hear of anticipated need for admin tools.billinghurst (talk) 07:40, 5 April 2009 (UTC)
Desysopand allocate auto-patrol attribute; no indication of need for admin tools. Rest as per Jayvdb. -- billinghurst (talk) 22:48, 25 April 2009 (UTC)- Support has been using the admin tools, implicit indication of requirement, aligning with initial thoughts. -- billinghurst (talk) 00:38, 1 May 2009 (UTC)
- Desysop; inactivity; he can request them back when he wishes to resume administration. If he says now that he intends to use them soon, then that is good enough for me. John Vandenberg (chat) 08:03, 5 April 2009 (UTC)
- Support. Has activity in the past month. Eclecticology - the offended (talk) 08:22, 7 April 2009 (UTC)
- Support. If he works on Commons and Wikisource and he intends realizations where he will need the tools in both, so it may be useful that he has both; I don't see any inconvenience if he keeps them. --Zyephyrus (talk) 17:37, 25 April 2009 (UTC)
Desysop. User:Billinghurst makes a good point with regards to autopatrolled, which has swayed me from not voting to opposing. The whole point of the restricted access policy is to remove access when it's unused, not just keep it around because "they might want to use it some time". Jude (talk) 02:26, 26 April 2009 (UTC)Is actively using the tools now, making my opposition due to lack of use moot. Support. Jude (talk) 01:58, 1 May 2009 (UTC)- Support; user has recent activity. --Spangineerwp (háblame) 02:33, 26 April 2009 (UTC)

2010-05 resignation
The following discussion is closed:
presumed resignation October 2009
- My attention was drawn to a presumed quiet resignation. If people think that is not the case and we should ask, please revert. — billinghurst sDrewth 11:35, 4 May 2010 (UTC)
- I would regard that as a resignation. There aren't many reasons why you'd remove yourself from the admin list unless you didn't want it any more. Regardless, DarkFalls has been inactive for more than 4 months, so according to the policy 50%+1 must confirm him to keep the restricted access or its automatically revoked.—Zhaladshar (Talk) 12:45, 4 May 2010 (UTC)
- I've left him a note over at w:User_talk:DarkFalls#email_disabled.--John Vandenberg (chat) 05:51, 5 May 2010 (UTC)
