Kept
[edit]This small uncategorized index should be in the Wikisource namespace, and should probably be merged into Wikisource:Religious texts. —{admin} Pathoschild 01:33:11, 06 August 2007 (UTC)
- WS:Religious Texts is too burdensome right now, it really needs to be broken down by a few major religions - most texts we have aren't even listed on there - I have a fair interest in religion, so I'll likely break it down myself in the near future. Sherurcij Collaboration of the Week: Author:Henry Ford 01:56, 6 August 2007 (UTC)
- Keep (move to WS namespace if necessary). This page seems to be useful within Sherurcij's new hierarchy of religion pages. Physchim62 01:55, 8 August 2007 (UTC)
- Yup, incorporated it. Sherurcij Collaboration of the Week: Author:Henry Ford 17:07, 9 August 2007 (UTC)

- Kept as it has been moved and reworked to be within the index--BirgitteSB 16:40, 31 August 2007 (UTC)

Kept.
This page documents the Proofread Page extension. I suggest it be merged into the extension page, where it can be read by anyone who installs it and translated into other languages. —{admin} Pathoschild 02:02:28, 02 September 2007 (UTC) 02:02, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
- Oppose. this page is not about how to install the extension, but about how to use it on the English Wikisource. There is no evidence for significant demand for this extension outside wikisource. Moving the help will just make it less likely that people use the extension on en.ws. ThomasV 05:56, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
- Keep I still need to re-read that page to remind myself how it works, I can't imagine new users won't need it--BirgitteSB 12:02, 4 September 2007 (UTC)
- Keep to make the information as user friendly as possible for WS community. FloNight 13:51, 5 September 2007 (UTC)

Deleted
[edit]The first page seems link merely an excerpt from a work, and the second page is likely an author page for a person with all copyrighted works.—Zhaladshar (Talk) 14:01, 9 August 2007 (UTC)
- Delete both. Likely copyrighted, and that in itself automatically puts both the author and his works out of the scope of our project. It also seems that the creator of these entries brought this text here with the purpose of circumventing the deletion of an article on it at Wikipedia; see here. Phaedriel - 19:47, 9 August 2007 (UTC)
- Keep both. I am a new comer, dont try to discourage me. give me time, I am still working on this and hopefully soon will come up with your expected results. --Iamsaa 06:42, 10 August 2007 (UTC)
- Delete for now as the content does not seems to be in the scope of the project. Advise the editor adding the content to carefully examine the help pages for a better understanding of what belongs here. If this user still thinks the content belongs, then perhaps they can re-write it in an user/sandbox and ask an experienced editor to look at it before moving to the main space. FloNight 22:32, 11 August 2007 (UTC)
- Unfortunately, that doesn't appear to be an option with copyrighted texts, as this appears to be the case. In fact, these entries appear to be part of a spam spree destined to publicize this person and the sect he founded at every imaginable English Wikimedia project, including Wikisource, Wikipedia, Simple English Wikipedia (under discussion for deletion), Wikiquote (deletion under discussion), Commons, Wikinews (discussed for deletion as well), and Wikibooks (already deleted). All these entries, including ours, were created within the span of a few days, by the same user above. Phaedriel - 23:42, 11 August 2007 (UTC)
- Delete The Religion of God as copyright and beyond scope (ISBN 9748261123); before removing Riaz Ahmed Gohar Shahi (and Author:Riaz Ahmed Gohar Shahi and Image:Rags.jpg), a recently added "Isim – e – Zat conference Speech needs to also be investigated. John Vandenberg 07:39, 17 August 2007 (UTC)

Fatwa About Jesus
[edit]This PDF contains a very short Fatwa, however it also contains a lot of content that is an unpublished commentary, making the PDF beyond the scope of the project. John Vandenberg 00:16, 10 August 2007 (UTC)
This unlinked work has been tagged translator? for over 3 months. No translator has been identified. Tarmstro99 17:40, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
- The work is taken from "Ideals of the Samurai: Writings of Japanese Warriors" - Page 38, translated by w:William Scott Wilson (b. 1944). I cant see any other translations around. John Vandenberg 22:06, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for the research on this! I will re-tag as a translation copyvio. Tarmstro99 16:18, 17 August 2007 (UTC)
Unused images
[edit]Sherurcij Collaboration of the Week: Author:Henry Ford 06:06, 8 August 2007 (UTC)
I've removed Image:Steven H3N2 Flu ET.jpg from the list as it contains a text, so it isnt unused; also it is the highest res image put out by the NIH, and isnt on the commons, so I have tagged it to be transferred there. Here are some more:
Image:Tape reading public 22.jpg; it was part of a deleted work The Ultimate Chance by Qweet (talk • contribs); Wikibooks has a number of the images but not this one, however the ones they have are unused so I doubt it is worth transwiki'ing it over to them. There are other unnecessary images in Category:Speedy deletion requests. John Vandenberg 23:17, 8 August 2007 (UTC)
- Delete all except for vandal images. I don't the harm in keeping those, and they might do some good. It did stop the vandal who kept returning before I put the placeholders up.--BirgitteSB 13:30, 9 August 2007 (UTC)
