This is currently marked for deletion as possibly unpublished. It is a series of quotes from various people in relation to the Boer War. May be transwikiable to Wikiquote. Eclecticology (talk) 21:24, 13 November 2008 (UTC)
- Delete. There is no source information for any of the quotes so it would not be that useful to Wikiquote, or rather, at the least would be a bit of work for that project to properly source the entries. But if someone wants to do that prior to deletion, no objections. Cirt (talk) 14:18, 15 November 2008 (UTC)
- Comment, if the title and author are correct, the content was published in ISBN 0198120826 (1978), and the quotes are PD. John Vandenberg (chat) 13:11, 16 November 2008 (UTC)
- Transwikied to Wikiquote: q:Drummer Hodge John Vandenberg (chat) 02:29, 23 November 2008 (UTC)
- Keep, Google snippet http://books.google.com/books?id=ytoNAAAAMAAJ&client=firefox-a&pgis=1 confirms that the a random survey of the quotes listed are in the book. Meets requirement of WS:WWI#Analytical and artistic works and note at bottom "Reference data that is provided as part of larger publication (tables, appendices, etc.) is perfectly acceptable". Though a complete copy of the book would not be PD for sometime. Jeepday (talk) 01:02, 16 December 2008 (UTC)
- The section about analytical works is about whole works, not small pieces of works. Reference material would exclude this since there is no likelihood that we will or even can publish the whole work. Moving this to Wikiquote should be enough to settle this. Deleted. It's been transwikied, that should be enough. —Anonymous DissidentTalk 15:21, 18 December 2008 (UTC)
Currently marked as unpublished. May also be a copyvio, even though we have had it for two years. Eclecticology (talk) 21:42, 13 November 2008 (UTC)
- Delete. Unless more information is obtained regarding copyright status and source info. Cirt (talk) 14:20, 15 November 2008 (UTC)
- Comment. It comes from w:The_Vale_Church,_Guernsey#References - [1]; see the Wikipedia talk page. I think that we could figure out the book if we tried, and it might be PD, and certainly some parts of this text are from even older sources. But, it is too much work to sort this one out. - Comment. This looks like a library listing for the book our article comes from. Have also just found it on sale here. Both suggest it was published in 1970. Suicidalhamster (talk) 23:51, 22 November 2008 (UTC)
Deleted as a copyvio. Jeepday (talk) 01:11, 16 December 2008 (UTC)
