1 Esdras is a book that appears in some versions of the Christian Bible. It is no longer accepted in most biblical canons, but is included in some bibles as apocrypha. In older versions based on translation from the Vulgate, it is named 3 Esdras, and "1 Esdras" refers to the book of Ezra. It is also known as Esdras A.
