HENRICIANS, the followers of one Henry, a pious and zealous monk of the twelfth century. He rejected the baptism of infants, censured with severity the licentious manners of the clergy, whom he in vain attempted to reform, and treated the festivals and ceremonies of the church with great contempt. He died in prison.[1]
