The Naval forces of Canada are administered from Ottawa. The chief officers of the Canadian Navy are as follows:—

• Chief of Naval Staff,: Commander C. D. Roper, R.N.
• Fleet Paymaster: P. J. Ling, R.N.
• Consulting Naval Engineer, Engineer Commander: P. C. Howe, R.N.
• Director of Gunnery: Lieut. R. M. T. Stephens, R.N.
