Acts of Faith, Hope, and Charity

Traditional Catholic prayers invoking the three theological virtues of Faith, Hope, and Charity; popularly used in morning prayer. Pope Benedict XIV in 1756 attached an indulgence to these prayers, stating that no particular form of words or expressions is necessary, but that any one may use any form they please, provided "that it expresses and explains the particular motives of each one of these three theological virtues."
