Teacher of lip-reading; president of the San Francisco League for the Hard of Hearing, principal of the San Francisco School of Lip-Reading, and founder (1922) of the Trask School of Lip-Reading in Philadelphia. Daughter of poet Florence Earle Coates and wife of John E. D. Trask.
