David Baron
(1855–1926)

David Baron was a Jewish convert to the Christian faith. He, together with co-founder CA Schönberger, began the Hebrew Christian Testimony to Israel missionary organization, in London, with the purpose of converting Jews to Hebrew Christianity. In addition to writing several books, he also contributed articles to the periodical The Scattered Nation. He was a leader in the Hebrew Christian movements of the Haskalah (Jewish Enlightenment) period in Europe.

  1. This work is advertised in the title page of Rays of Messiah's Glory, published in of 1886. Therein he dates his conversion to nine years prior to that year. As such, this book was published no earlier than 1877 and likely no later than 1885.
