Identification

No exact idea who this is (can't find anything at FAG, familysearch or ancestry).

Why I think this person was a woman: Listed as Rumell, however parents are Inez Haigh and George W. Haigh (findagrave links). (We know they are because her mother, which has a rare name, is named in the dedication.) Her father's name was Haigh, and her mother's married name was Haigh, so logically she was also born as Haigh, and changed to Rumell. The cause for that is very probably marriage to a man called Rumell. — Alien  3
