@Beleg Tâl: I have a Mary Clarke marrying a Henry Huntington in Windsor, Connecticut, USA, 1900, and thereafter recorded as Mary C. Huntington. Looks that she her life dates are about 1872-1968, and pretty much living in same area. How would that fit with your author and her place of publishing? — billinghurst sDrewth 22:36, 11 November 2019 (UTC)
May have been born in Canada. — billinghurst sDrewth 22:40, 11 November 2019 (UTC)- @Billinghurst: The author in question was publishing as "Mary Clarke Huntington" in 1894 so would not be this one, but might be the one below. —Beleg Tâl (talk) 15:41, 12 November 2019 (UTC)
To note that I am also seeing a Mary Clark Huntington (b. c.1866) listed as author (1910) and seeing that may have been involved in children's stories. This person would appear to have admitted to hospital as insane prior to 1910, still admitted 1920. Note living New London, CT. — billinghurst sDrewth 22:45, 11 November 2019 (UTC)

NY census 1905 living with brother in Bronx, NY, listed as schoolteacher. All these as Mary C. Huntington, no name expansion. — billinghurst sDrewth 07:38, 13 November 2019 (UTC)
