Commencement of the Constitution Amendment Act, 1993 (1993)

This presidential proclamation, number 55 of 1993, published on 1 July 1993 in Government Gazette No. 14933, brought the Constitution Amendment Act, 1993 into force on that same date.

Constitution Amendment Act, 1993 (Act No 82 of 1993)

In terms of section 12 of the Constitution Amendment Act, 1993 (Act No 82 of 1993), I hereby determine 1 July 1993 as the date on which the said Act shall come into operation.

Given under my Hand and the Seal of the Republic of South Africa at Cape Town on this 23rd day of June, One Thousand Nine Hundred and Ninety-Three.
