BERAR, RAGHOJI BHONSLA III, RAJA OF (1808?–1853)
Raja of Nagpur: grandson of Raghoji Bhonsla II (q.v.), adopted by his widow and made Raja as a child of 9, after the flight of Appa Sahib (q.v.). When he died in 1853, leaving no heir or relation with any claim, Nagpur was incorporated into British territory.
