Bewley, Some Notes on the Lowthers, 'Antiq. Soc. Trans.' ii. new ser.). One of Sir Gerard's heirs was his godson, also Sir Gerard Lowther (1589-1860), apparently a natural son of his elder brother Christopher. He | ||
